I paid $12,127.80 for healthcare insurance and health related (Prescription, OTC, Dental and Optical) expenses last year for myself (1 person). I am glad to hear that "Ted" is feeling the pain paying his share too.
I read there was a proposal on the table that federal lawmakers should have to contribute 6% of their pre-tax income toward paying for their health benefits -- they should be forced to join the club.
