It's a common practice where certain groups bury their dead by dumping them in the rivers.. The same rives they bath in and get drinking/cooking water from.. I know it's never "cool" for someone that has shot fuck films to be moralistic. But just the same I tend to have that streak. So when I read stuff like there's more cell phones in a country than there is toilets and dumping dead bodies, etc. I get really ticked off with nerds that claim some sort of superior "progress" and then point to shit like cell phones, the search for life on other planets, electric cars, etc. as proof.
The ancient Romans had toilets so there's no excuse for this situation.
