My opinions stand -- I see the conversion stats every day. And we buy 60K to 150K bulk hits a day.
A pig will step in shit in the barnyard sometimes -- so there will be an occasional sale. Buy 50K hits and see for yourself.
Even AdWords and other CPC ads (clicked text traffic) can take months of expense to start showing a return. If you think you are going to buy 1000 hits of skimmed traffic and make 5 sales -- good luck. When you popup or skim you are force-feeding a user and their natural reaction is to close the popup or redirect. They see your name and that is the branding value. No broadcast cam website sells its cam traffic -- so here the hell do you think the 'cam traffic' is coming from?
This type of traffic is good for branding and little else.
