I got through reading a book on money laundering by a Canadian cop, It was written in the 80s. He said in Montreal, the pizzeria owners were forced to buy extra cheese and pepperoni. So the pizza owners ended up throwing on an extra layer of cheese and pepperoni. And that to this day people in Montreal expect this on their pizzas.

True? I wonder if that is where the famous Chicago deep dish pizza go its start too.
