Thought Experiment on Discrimination/Freedom of Association
Unfortunately, private property rights have been trampled in the United States. Business owners are not allowed to discriminate against people on the basis of color, sexual orientation, etc. Put another way, people are being forced to conduct business with people they'd prefer not to conduct business with. What should be a basic human right -- freedom of association/non-association -- has now become government coerced integration and forced service providing.
But what might the ramifications of this policy be? Here's a thought experiment:
You are a straight, male prostitute/escort. A gay man comes to you demanding service. Can you refuse him or do you have to fuck/suck him? Maybe you're a straight, black, female sex worker who is sexually repulsed by white women. Should the government force you to service them anyway? And don't try to fight the hypos by claiming that there's some kind of difference between sex worker services and other services or by blabbering on about "legality". Be an adult and acknowledge that either you own your property even if you're open to the public, or the government owns your property.
So much for "no means no".
