Well, the first thing you need to do if you want to see it yourself is NOT go to webmaster conventions in the tourist parts of town in Germany and Amsterdam or any of the big capital cities of Europe.

In other words all the tourists spots that you see when you are at European adult webmaster conventions.

That would be like somebody coming from another country to the U.S. and judging how people felt by only visiting Las Vegas and Disney World.

I first realized how people feel about us in the mid 1980's when I toured in South America with my band. The upper class people loved America. The people living in the dirt and being ground down by the U.S. DEA weren't so loving.

My brother-in-law just got back from a tour of duty in the middle east. No love there at ALL.
And he spent about 2 years based out of Germany and had his family living there with him. The locals aren't exactly loving up on American's either (the REAL locals, not the tourist and military industry people).
He had plenty of stories to tell about that.

In more recent times...I love going to Jamaica. But once you walk off that resort? You have to be real careful. But that isn't so much hate towards the American govt. as it is a high crime rate.

I've never seen much hatred in Mexico. But I spent most of my time at resorts on the ocean down there.
In 2011 & 2012 I went down to Tijuana a half dozen times and stayed at a hotel there. I walked the streets, partied at clubs at night, etc. Nothing real "tourist", and no real hatred either.

I'd say that Europe, Mexico, Japan, and Canada are all "non-hate" (though the locals don't really like us much either).

Now once you expand out of that...people seem to hate the U.S. and I can't blame them in most cases.

Got a buddy who does work in China. He said the people there are real curious about us. But the govt. keeps him on a leash when he's on the mainland.

I suppose it's mostly countries whom we have hurt through our policies. South American countries for instance because we bullied them about their drug production and caused farmers to lose their income and have to grow corn and other low money crops.

The Middle East (of course) because that's been the main thrust of our "foreign policy" for decades now because of the oil.

Big part of Africa and Indonesia because there are so many muslims there and they take up the battle of their "brothers" with the U.S.

Anyway, you can also ask people you know from other countries. I'm sure they can fill you in (in case you didn't notice all the terror threats against the U.S. and fighting around the world by our military.)
