The teen mother is being held at a juvenile detention center which means she is under 18 years of age. The baby is 4 months old. That means she was impregnated by a middle aged pedophile at the age of 16 or younger. Being "home schooled" is a polite way of saying she was at his mercy 24/7 for how many years? She would have little to no socialization and likely no understanding of her surroundings or her neighbours. This teen does not need to be charged with child abuse. She needs to be evaluated for trauma, PTSD and a myriad of psychological problems that she will have to deal with before she can even try to become a member of society.
