Funny thread. You can obviously see who doesn't shoot, doesn't pay for shoots or have a clue on what people get paid.
Shane Diesel, Prince, Lex and a few others are 1K per scene. Mandingo is $1200-$1400 per scenes.
Then there are a bunch of Black guys that are on all rate levels down to $300 and less.
White guys: Same thing 4 guys charge 1K per scene. One guy gets paid $1200 per scene and one guy actually makes $1500 scene (Yes $1500 per scenes and he turns work away on the daily).
And there are a list of white guys that hit every pay rate down to working for free.
Supply and demand is the name of this game. There is nothing racist about it. I want Lex or Prince in any of my scenes, I'm going to pay their rate. It really is that simple. Offering them less than their rate is a joke and an insult to them and all male performers.
All of the top males black and white are always booked out 3-6 weeks out on average.
Could you imagine; "Hey since your black, would you you drop your rate $400? Your black and Im white, you should drop your rate." I would get laughed at on the phone and stabbed at the next industry function. Sounds dumb? Of course its dumb!! High end males, Black and white all command and get paid their rates.
All the girls of all races are in the exact same boat. You want a performer with a name, your going to pay for it. You want a $50 crack head, you can find that too.
Both content products will be totally different.
The saying: "You get what you pay for" fits perfectly in this situation.
Arguing with me on this point won't make me see that talents pay reflects racisim and it most importantly it won't change anyones rates.
The laws of supply and demand is whats at play here.
