Hehehe - my Dad's 68 and drives a convertible corvette.

Since insurance stats show that it is those drivers under 25 that constitute the overwhelming majority of those involved in accidents...the ensuing injuries and death...do you advocate that those under 25 should not be allowed to drive?
I actually heard on the news tonight that CA is saying elders are involved in MORE accidents than teens.

I always get a chill when I see a car with one of those blue handicapped placards hanging. I just think what the fuck the guy is openly saying I'm handicapped and have a disability, but I'm ok to drive this 4000 pound piece of lethal steel just fine.
Not all those people are actually DRIVING. My mother had one on her car for years so she could drive my grandmother around and park close to get the wheelchair out. My mother wasn't handicapped.

If I ran the country, you'd get a learner's permit at 16, but couldn't get a driver's license until you were at LEAST 18 and the test would be more than dodging a few cones in a parking lot like it is in GA. And I think after 65 (or 70) tests at LEAST every 2 years need to be implemented.
