I agree fully with your review. Lawrence Harvey deserves an acting award. He has so many great moments. When he gets out of bed after his Mom discovers the book. When he feeds his pet Centipede. Wow, just, wow. I was glued to the screen.
And his Mom! Love her! Though I would say that the actress downplayed her a bit. It might have been more fun to see her crank it up a notch too.
And the psychologist. Wow. Downplayed too, but. That beard looks so cool in black and white.
"Stop the Tears" - OUCH!!!! I couldn't believe it. I had to rewind that part to make sure I heard what I really heard. Fucking sick!
Now I want to watch the movie again.
