Since Wes is responsable for the first and last and the only 2 ok freddy movies to date. Even Wes thinks the studios fucked him and his character up.
Funny jokes do not matter, Jason is what slasher movies are about. Hell the friday movies established the rules of horror that even Wes makes fun of in his scream movies.
