People are ridiculous. The longer people stay in the mindset the more people they raise to just grow up and think it's normal to do it. It seems to be a vicious cycle.

When I divorced my first husband at 22, I got assistance for 3 months. During that time I went to school, became a certified nurses assistant and enjoyed doing that for a few years.

After the three months though, I wrote a letter thanking them, and removed myself from their system and never looked back. I think I used the system in the way it's meant to be used and the best way for it to be used. If I didn't have it to help me I don't know what I would have done.

I was not however getting 900.00 hair-dos or getting my nails done, I drove a junk car.

I know it's not right to judge, but I really just couldn't help it. There were so many people there that could be so much more than they are by sitting there falling into this lifestyle or not trying to get out of it.
