If you're putting in a mod chip and don't need to return it, then it doesn't matter. Or softmod a console with many exploits in a few different games
Or go old school and take an N64, carefully solder out the 112 and 116 pin (dev0,dev1) and solder each to any 3.3v connection on the board. Boom, 3x clock speed
And any special screw like the Nintendo tri screws, just melt the blunt end of a pen a little and press it on the screw head until it cools..
