Sure there are some socially safe ways for self identified heterosexual men to express their homosexual side, if they have one. Being a "superfan" when they don't play the sport in question, or having sexual fetishes that allow then to be suborned to a "superior" male. DC is filled with physiologically gay men who identify as straight. Its been called the gayest city in the nation, yet very few of the men identify as gay.
That doesn't mean that all men or even a majority of men have homosexual tendencies, and even the ones that do we don't have the right to define their sexuality for them.
