Very interesting article - thanks for posting it.
The real problem with the popularity data is that it comes from C4S only, which has always had a Femdom oriented clientele and therefore misrepresents actual overall fetish popularity - and some of those categories would not be considered fetish in the first place...
What would be even more interesting is if he had sales data and you could see which countries were buying which niches..
