I was at Publix today (which is a grocery store chain here in FL) and their SALE price on 92% lean was $6.99/lb... I was like, meh not bad... then I thought about it and was like WHAT THE FUCK?
Ground fucking chuck is $5.70 and that's the shit you'll find bones and hairs in for fuck sakes.
I am more of a chicken guy myself, but I remember growing up on a budget with my folks and a meatloaf was the "go to" meal for my parents when money was tight.
Now that shit would be like a $20 meal!
