Today kids aren't even allowed to hit until they're a certain age, something I don't agree with at all. But NHL players aren't kids, and should know better about crossing a blueline with their fucking heads down.

My son started playing in the last year of allowing bantams to check. Since he started late compared to the majority of kids the league basically tried to discourage him from playing at all because of the hitting, and I know what you are saying - you have to learn early on to keep the head up.
Players also learn from an early age to "play to the whistle" and apparently the Rangers seem to have forgotten that one... with ONE SECOND left to play!!!
Go Caps. Rangers need to be beaten down like red headed step children caught stealing cookies on Sunday.
