Actually, Mickey, now that you mention this, I think of how my dogs dominate each other.
They actually do pin the dog down, and try to roll on each other putting their shoulder in first, and putting their whole mouth around the neck to hold them there (not really biting them). It lasts a few seconds before they let the other dog up
Maybe? Just maybe that's what the guy was doing. Hopefully anyway.
