Any reasonable human being born in hhis country and who claims to be old enough to be a grandfather, would feel ashamed to speak English as poorly as you do. Failure isn't an achievement to strive for or something you openly flaunt. It should be a source of embarrassment and shame, driving and motivating you to do better, not make failure a lifestyle.
