having maintained very large search engine networks and 1000's of sites on my own domains, spread across numerous hosts, and having used most hosts that have existed in this industry, I can say with complete confidence that host gator is one of the absolute worst hosts in the hosting business. though they've changed ownership since i've used them last, they've been bought by a company thats bought out every shitty host with any customer base on the planet practically so I can't imagine its getting better.
