For me, it has nothing to do with the french accents. In fact I like a good french accent, heard enough Qweebec strippers in the Toronto bars in the 80s/90s and they sounded awesome.
No, it's predominantly their arrogance and often times lack of civility. Most of them are loud, obnoxious...and worst of all - pushy and demanding. Especially in restaurants and retail stores.
These days we have an overwhelmingly disproportionate amount of taxation funding being funneled in to the French separate schools - as a result of the loud and vociferous squeaky wheel getting the grease.
