The Colorado River is the source of Lake Mead. And Lake Mead is a man-made lake, not natural.
When I go to Laughlin, the river is full up to it's banks. Not drying up. But with California siphoning off the main percentage of the water that is allocated to Lake Mead and Las Vegas having a huge poplulation full of homes with yards that must be watered every day (it's a desert here)...something has to give.
Too many people in Cali and Vegas.
