It says that Lake Mead's water level is affecting the ability of the Dam to generate electricity.
Uhmmm...HELLO! The Hoover Dam generates electricity from damming up the Colorado River NOT Lake Mead.
Lake Mead is a man-made lake that is a byproduct of The Hoover Dam. It's used for water in Vegas and recreation. Not to "generate electricity" like that article says. lol
