If they say "No, I just want A+B and not C".
Then you do A+B ...

Because; who the fuck are you to tell them it won't work?
Do you know everything they know?
You can be sure they didn't tell you any secrets they have on making it work.


Disclaimer : The problem is that they always forget that you suggested C and they blew it off, therefore you fucked up and not them when it fails.
