I find those people who think that the woman was wrong for not complying with unlawful orders to be just bizarre to me. If everyone simply complies with unlawful orders then they will continue and increase. The ONLY way to push back against police abusing their power is to resist it, without violence.
I'm pretty willing to bet that those same people would have advised co-operation with the Nazi's in their day also.
"If you do not comply vit our illegal orders, ve vill use vatever means zat ve must in order to force you to comply! You vill co-operate or it vill go hard vit you..."
