After reading the big Wired story on him earlier this week my understanding is that nobody was actually murdered. He hired people to kill others, but they were all faked. Unless I misunderstood.

Either way, he is going away for a very long time. Even if nobody died he did try to order the deaths of others and they will want to make a example out of him to discourage others from running a site like this. I would imagine he will spend the rest of his life in jail.
