IMO violence will not solve the problem.
I am relatively new in the industry but came in knowing that the hands of the law do not like to get dirty in our business and its affairs.
Possible solution ? Create a syndicate of ALL studios and content producers that is unbiased, transparent, open to everyone: the 'liked' and the 'not so liked'. Have a small membership fee to cover for an independent panel of auditors that are trustworthy. Meet (online or in person), brainstorm new marketing strategies, develop acceptable guidelines that we all abide by. We create our own laws and we can regulate our own affairs if we are mature enough. Then any company or individual that doesn't respect the system will be blacklisted by everyone. The system will have our interests at heart and not the ones of the thieves.
Thanks for the great suggestion.

A peaceful kumbaya group can't hurt, together we are stronger bla bla all that - but can we at least throw breaking pirates fingers into the mix? We'll find out which hand they use for the mouse and smash only the good hand ok?
