Not a good policy to take up. For one it is still barbaric so it doesn't differ.
Christians are a minority if everyone took it up.
There is no easy way to end this or any war lot of wrongs done both sides.
Seems both parties already won their fights as already convinced enough to fight a war for a God when it was supposed to be against those that didn't have one.
