I know you are ready to sacrifice the free medicine, the free education and other social things to make your army the most bigger and the most
expensive one, but it doesn't change anything. We live in the era of nuclear weapon, so all that "power" gets easily leveled by e=mc^2 + the total amount of nukes. You can spend 1000's times more to your army and starve like Northern Koreans, but it won't give you a single chance to survive in case of a real war. You'll die like others in case of the war conflict with another superpower (Russia, China, whatever). That's not the same like fighting poor and dirty mofos somewhere in Afghanistan. All those useless spendings will spin your GDP and your national debt (you already owe most of your country to China
) as well as they will make your people poorer, but it's a one way ticket. You won't achieve such a high social level like in the most of the European countries anymore
