Im sorry to burst your bubble.. but the US is not a democracy. Its a plutocracy.. run by the rich people to benefit the rich people.
Your leaders jump in and out of government, they work at a chemical plant, then become the person who makes the laws about Chemical plants.. no conflict of interest there.
You have the appearance of choice, but really its the mega rich who run your country and install presidents.
