For the record I just did what I thought should be done, I wasn't playing hero or anything, wasn't standing up to someone playing rap music too loud or whatever. I didnt have time to think I just relied on my moral center and my good sense to do the best I could in a crisis situation...Im glad I didnt have to kill him but as i said one more kick or whatever on the door and it likely would have given...one split second would have changed it all.
My point in telling the story of it isnt self aggrandizing any more than writing about my having Bells Palsy or a spinal tumor was....its one of those things that could happen to anyone and if reading about my experience helps someone ...well thats why I wrote it...I do appreciate the kind words.
