Bullshit. The explosions push a downward blast and that blast causes destruction and with-in that destruction is dust. That dust become irritated and toxic. It also accumulates in the air. If the blast occurs over the ocean rather than dust it's the sea salt which becomes air-born and irradiated.
It's why the rain turns black after a nuclear blast (or white over an ocean). The ions seed the clouds and all that radioactive fall out rains right back down. You are seriously deluded if you think there will be no fall out.
Next we are then talking about this process happening hundreds maybe even thousands of times considering all the warheads both the US & Russia have..
