Welcome to the wonderful world of making money on line! I hope you make it. If I may suggest one thing, start with 1 thing and work that 1 thing till you get your desire results, money, traffic etc. Then once you have learned everything you can with your 1 thing then and only then scale up or out..
Reason I am saying this is: ( "build for about 8 tubes , build a gallery blog for the tubes and sponsor pay sites. Use tumblr, g+, pin and dump sites to get visitors. ")
No need in building 8 tubes, what if you do this and you do it wrong, then you will be doing it wrong 8 times with the same results. STAY focus ON 1 thing make that 1 thing work and I don't mean a few hours here and there, I mean put everything you got in to it. if you can put in 8 10 12 16 hour days then do that. I promise it will pay off in the long haul.
Too many people new and old go the same route you're talking about. Throw everything at the wall and what ever sticks use that. Yes years ago you could do something like that and yes 8 out of 10 times it would work too. Not now, you will have to really work at this. This wont work unless you put in the time and work to make it work.
Unless you're one of these types that everything you do turns to gold... lol if you are then never mind. But I doubt you are at least not right now! Good luck my friend and if I can ever be of help please let me know.
