Several groups are running online campaigns to brazenly raise money for rebels in eastern Ukraine, helping succor a conflict that has killed thousands.
U.S. Is Poised to Put Heavy Weaponry in Eastern Europe -- June 14th, NY Times.
The proposal, if approved, would represent the first time since the end of the Cold War that the United States has stationed heavy military equipment in Eastern Europe.
That region between Eastern Europe and Western Russia is fast becoming the new Middle East I think.
