Future of my business may depend on this...

The majority of my business is main stream “free sites”. While affiliate revenue was what drove it followed by Adsense and finally paid advertising, this is all no longer the case.

Quite simply affiliate revenue from highly targeted niche traffic has dried up to almost zero, and Adsence revenue is less than a 1/3rd of what it was when I had less than half the traffic than I do now.

Paid ads are holding their own. Trying to find salespersons locally that will knock on doors for a 25% cut of advertising sales revenue has been impossible. Raising commission to 30% had no effect.

Here is my question, with all the new ad blocking users and the fact that the new IOS will allow adblocking, on websites I see what looks like a nail in the coffin for many sites.

I want to create my ad system for my network of existing sites and see if there is a way to beat the blocking software before I roll out a new highly managed system of ads including E-coupons I can control.

What ways are there that any of you have found that beat the ad blocking software on sites?

I know this may be a cat and mouse game (which I really do not want to fight) and although I will be expanding my “native ads”, I am hoping there is a simple way I can offer specials and discounts in a banner style ad everyday that people can see and buy through.

(edit: I have already poked around the internet and don't see a good set of recent rules as to what you can do. I need real life experience from some of you that have "beat the system".)
