I see why your moniker is "so fucking blind".
Typo domains represent surfers who are typing a domain DIRECTLY into their browser navigation bar and make a mistake. Typical mistakes are where the word switches from the left hand to the right or vice versa on the keyboard. So when they go to switch from the right "o" to the left "r" in this case they miss the "r" and type pono instead of porno. Also common mispellings of words.
It has nothing to do with searching for them on a search engine, it's a form of direct navigation or type-in domains. Your search displays are meaningless because they aren't generally even searching for them although as you can see they make the same spelling mistake searching in the search engines.
Within the domain industry they act like BONDS. People type the domain into the browser looking for something like pornostar and get ponostar and click on the ads there. Money is made by the domain owner.
So you see domains such as ponstar or ponostar or voyurs etc.
Some typo examples we have owned and sold in the past.
unniversity.com instead of university. Sold for xxx under a N.D.A (non disclosure agreement)
Laywers.com instead of lawyers sold for 30k us (used to make 6-700 pm in ppc)
Vaigra.com instead of Viagra sold for x,xxx under a NDA. Used to make 2-400 pm in ppc
They are not intended for development but using the traffic on them to make $$$$.
Nobody is comparing ponostar to pornstar or pornostar it was tongue in cheek. You know a joke, an attention getter, advertising. Attracting interest (hopefully intelligent)(fail) to the thread and ALL the rest of the domains listed there.
