It is quite hard not to eat horse if you eat salami. At least here in Finland it is common ingredient in salami. I don't mind it; it doesn't matter that does the horse go to the glue factory or into salami, so to speak.
But the dogs? Those are for entirely different purpose than eating those. And as it might make sense to use (old) expensive horse in a way or another; there is not that much meat in the dog to justify the shit. I bet it felt shit to send own horse to glue factory.
