Everyone knows that I think gun laws are ultra weak in the US and even in Canada, but in a way, letting blind people own and shoot guns isn't itself a bad thing. Maybe carrying a gun is bad, but nothing wrong with owning one.
Blind people can use technologies like sonar to "see" their targets shoot, probably with surprising accuracy. And if your blind and want to target shoot as a hobby, why not?
"Open Carry" on the other hand...
