Canadian news often reports on issues in the US, and we get lots of US news channels which are filled with the latest gun violence happening in the US.
Like you, we hate seeing innocent people gunned down for no reason.
Unlike you (maybe), we are stunned at how every time there is more horrific gun violence, the NRA appears to be out in full force, encouraging people to buy more guns.

I agree. Someone who wants to ban all guns is wasting their time - it can't and shouldn't be done. However, background checks are a good idea. Guns should be kept out of the hands of criminals. Limits should be placed on clips. High power assault rifles are sexy to some but should only be allowed at ranges or other designated safety zones.
