No.
The Earth's average distance is not changing. However the North and South Hemisphere's get warmer or cooler based on the Earth's tilt on its axis and which part is facing the sun.

CO2 is one of a few greenhouse gasses. Too much of these gasses trap heat, warming the planet up. CO2 is absorbed by trees and planets. Deforestation is reducing the number of trees on the planet that can absorb C02. So burning or cutting down the forests means we affect the planets ability to stay cool.
