The only problem with them is that they look so good and are so comfortable, you'll want to wear them with everything all the time and will thus wear them out more quickly than what you might expect for such a high price. Because of the little red stripe on the back of the heel, it's damn near impossible to find a cobbler who can resole them properly. And believe me, I've tried some pretty highly regarded ones here in Manhattan and not one has been able to do it properly so I just gave up stopped trying. Now I buy two pairs at a time because I heard that if you regularly alternate them, they will last longer than if you just constantly wear the same pair all the time until you're ready for the next. Not sure if that's true or not but I do it just in case.
