I'm pretty sure the average liberal is to happy with things to really care too much. Talking heads are paid to maintain friction, a lot of the extreme political bloggers are attention whores trying to be seen.
I'm an average person and I like spunky Trump, but I'm not on the rooftops letting the world kknow, same with gay marriage.
