The solution here is clearly more firearms. If that seven year old boy was armed he would have been able to protect himself.
The problem is we hand out firearms to anyone who wants them. Look at it this way - One out of every three Americans own firearms; Do you honestly believe that one out of every three Americans are responsible enough to own firearms? Let me rephrase that question - do you think one out of every three Americans are responsible to raise children?
