I've told this story before here on GFY.... When my father died he had two hand guns. I remember them growing up, was taught to never touch them, and that they would be mine when I was an adult. Years later.... No one in my family knows what happened to them. My mother and father got divorced, the house got sold, yet no one knows what happened to the firearms. Someone has them somewhere.

Oh, I completely understood your point. Instead of addressing the issue, which is gang violence, you took it as an opportunity to go after all of the legal gun owners that are not causing any issues at all.
As to your father's handguns, it sounds like your family is incredibly irresponsible and none of you should have guns. Maybe instead of chasing other people, you should take care of your own house.
