I am newbie to the Adult Website Industry. I am creating this thread to get and share information about adult business Registration, Banking, Legal works and Hosting. These are essentials to consider while setting-up the business, especially if considering an off-shore country. It would be of great help for the newbies if the Pros can share their experience. Have some questions in the regard

1. Which country is favorable to run an adult web business ? I hear many have registered in off-shore countries as Cyprus, Prague, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, Malta, Belize, etc This is for people who cannot run such a business in their country. Pros and Cons of setting up in any of these locations ? Discussion can be about local laws, taxation, meeting requirements, ease of dealing with banking, hosting and bandwidth

2. Assuming you set-up in an off-shore location, which are good banks that support the establishment ? How to get a merchant account ? For which locations is it easy to work with payment gateways, credit card processing companies and conduct smooth international banking transactions ?

3. Which hosting services and in which country are fine with adult hosting ? I hear the servers are better located in a country where you have registered the business. What are some factors we need to consider while selecting hosting companies, especially for the media rich adult business ?

4. Any important legal work, licenses or set-up one needs to care about before running the site ?

5. Any tips on running the business anonymously ?
