No, I have only tested at home and a few restaurants. I suspect that what I eat is less likely to be radioactive (like salmon that is local in BC rivers).

If I have a chance to try it at a fish-market, I'll report the result.

Yes, there is an alignment process that happens on initiation of the counter. Once the area baseline is set, I can use it to test radiation coming from specific sources.
