wait 5 years, then see how it was finally the catalyst for real change in politics, then follow suit. At least that's I'm how I'm hoping it pans out in the UK.
As an aside, I can't help noticing that voters/people are so obsessed with the minutiae of eg whether Trump photoshopped his own pics, that it's no surprise most politicians are also more obsessed with every 'gotcha' they can possibly grab, rather than deal with actual issues.
It truly boggles my mind to see the fucking charade that is PM's question time in the UK, and the huge mismatch between achieving 'gotchas' that are so ridiculous in their worth, and the trumpeting that goes on after when that 'gotcha' is awarded, both by the fellow MPs, and the idiots who think their 'side' has just acheived something.
From what I see on this board I can only assume it's the same in the US/Canada. Something drastic needs to happen to change the joke that is politics, and I for one am hoping this culminates in being such a catalyst.
