Regardless, your body is designed to eat a proper balance of carbs, fats and proteins. Cereal and milk do not even come remotely close. If it's keeping you sated for any period of time, it's likely high fat from the cereal (granola type cereals) and milk. Protein is minimal. You can simply check for yourself - if the goal is 40% of calories from protein, 40% from carbs and 20% from fat, how close to that does cereal and milk put you? Not close at all.
