Yeah happened to me 2 times in a year. Last time I was just out for 40 mins and by the time I got back they had broken in, taken all clothing, all bedding (sheets), all electrical goods, 5 computers, 60cm tv, and been through everything and even stripped the beds with a knife for hidden stuff. used gloves so we didn't get prints.
We now have a dog (Rottie), sensor lights on ever side of the house, an internal alarm system, security grates on all windows, monitored alarm integration which guarantees to send someone over within 10 min of the alarm going off, and will soon be getting a 2nd layer of alarm systems which are roof mounted and can only be activated and shut off with a hidden control pad, or a portable remote.

Getting worse here in Australia. I would just like to catch one of the kids in the act. I would probably be guilty of what Scott did years back ...
