I use TGPX and its free now thanks to the community upgrades. Personally I like it better than Smart Thumbs but Comus (Paid) was the best out of all 3.

Yeah you can double or even triple it providing

1. Site Design and Content gives high productivity (low productivity traffic isn't good for trading).
2. Site speed is critical (better be on a great dedicated if you want beyond 30k uniques).
3. To monetize you would probably want to sell some of your extra traffic (see sig). No you wouldn't want to use popunders (atleast not on your main page), no one would want to trade with you.
